Fuel enrichener
Hey guys, I'm new here and mainly created this account because when reassembling the donated super hawk 996 the "fuel enrichener" broke off at the threads inside the carburetor and i couldn't seem to find a replacement. All help and advice is appreciated.

Not sure m8 as gl_s_r made a set for me only last yearcybercarl wrote:Their not made anymore. It was a one off batch.

Incidentally Bollmanhuck, in the UK we refer to it as the choke. When I first read your topic I thought you were on about the lean/rich screws at the base of each carb

Sorry about calling it the wrong thing, i found more info when searching enrichener than choke.darkember wrote:Not sure m8 as gl_s_r made a set for me only last yearcybercarl wrote:Their not made anymore. It was a one off batch.

Re: Fuel enrichener
Well actually technically you right, it is an enricher as that is exactly what it does. It richen's the mix by allowing more fuel hence the name enricher.

Alright so I found this page : http://www.polarispartshouse.com/oempar ... carburetor
And #28 looks like the correct part but i think i would have to drill it out a little bit.

Re: Fuel enrichener
Just buy a spare set of carbs, if they're complete they will have the part you need- or just fit the spare set.
I have a spare choke assembly, but postage to US is going to be more than it's worth.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
