The castings of the outer cylinders would need to be enormous.
Conrods seem to be more efficient but i do like inovation
It may only be my opinion but it's mine!

It's crazy the way they are trying to make engines more efficient when electric motors are the way foreword .
They need to make the hydrogen fuel sell work or release it as I'm sure they have it ready for public use but the government and oil company's won't allow it as they will loose to much taxable revenue .

Good to see I'm not the only one that has insight. The problem with electric Lloyd is that unless we go nuclear then fuel is still needed to generate the electric. Unless we get the youth of today lined up on a row of bicycles and get them peddling like slaves.

 I just had a brainwave.

We have all the cyclists riding around, cars driving around, people walking etc. We could generate our own electric. A wireless dynamo attached to whatever makes motion and could maybe send signals/power back to sub boxs, which then send that onto the power station that divides it back out to us all.

Mmm I wonder of that's possible. The problem would be converting kinetic energy into digital.

Hydrogen is the way to go..

Although; I'm happy to put most things between my legs (yay young and lonely) such as ICE's, but hydrogen? That stuff is dangerous under pressure so it would have to be proven really well I think.

I'm sure it's possible Carl, just make each wheel an electromagnet! That'll help them build up a sweat :D

How about Potato power.
We could all grow our own power plants (pardon the pun)

Full of hyperbole but performance is improving rapidly with leccy bikes- Just the cost of lithium batteries holding things back but China is strip mining Australia to meet demand...

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Yes, but:
"The total displacement is only 3.25 litres, but the engine develops 90 B.H.P"

Not exactly a dead-end street, more like a dead-end street with road humps, one-way working, speed cameras and traffic lights.

A Storm with an engine like that would make about 27Bhp.

But to be fair that's still more than Marty's made on the dyno at Brands with a plug cap made by Woodbines........
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
