Re: chain lube
I use Castrol or muc off, both are good, but both are messy, I fancy using chain wax to seal in the lube.... ![Thinking ](./images/smilies/icon_think.gif)

Muc-Off usually. Keep meaning to buy a scott-oiler but I always seems to spend my money on other things ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Re: chain lube
I usually use the Muc off PTFE stuff but I'm going to try and save some pennys and start using WD40. I read an interesting article recently where they compared chain life on O ring chains using chain lube and WD and the chain done just as well on WD...... and it kept it clean.

My tuppence...
I've tried around 6 of the major brands in the last year and applied each one as per manufacturers instructions, the Castrol ptfe stuff is by far the cleanest of the bunch, very little fling.
And it can be applied to a cool chain, so no hop footing around applying lube in your leathers after ride (giggidy).

Re: chain lube
I use a combination of a Dupont chain wax and WD40
I just cant get my head around a dry looking chain being lubed enough
Plus WD40 is easy to get off the rim of it flings off![Thumbup ](./images/smilies/icon_thumbup.gif)

Re: chain lube
I like the WD40 idea, and even the WD40 mix might work for me.

Re: chain lube
Castrol chain wax for me but my brother has just given me a tin of Teflon lube that he has just started using on his Blade, so may give it a try!

Re: chain lube
A bit of the Old Castrol EP90 gearbox oil in my Loobman works wonders.
It still flings off but it penetrates really well and is really easy to wipe off any excess .
