wiring question
I, sorry to mither with another tedious question but I cant get the Honda PDF to come up/install and I have a wiring plug or two left with nothing in them and am wondering if anyone can help. There is a wire coming from the clutch cover, I think it is from the pick up/sensor inside the casing, where does this plug into on the loom? it looks like it cold go under the carbs and plug into the loom near the coil for the front cylinder (that as yet has nothing plugged into it) and also where in the loom does the fuel sender plug into? it looks like it goes into the block in front of the battery. Many thanks. Oh and I have a workshop manual on order Lol.

Yes it runs through the v in the engine and plugs in the loom on the left by the front coil .
and also where in the loom does the fuel sender plug into? it looks like it goes into the block in front of the battery. Many thanks. Oh and I have a workshop manual on order Lol.
The fuel plug plugs in under the seat by the battery just look at the wire colours and match them up .

Re: wiring question
If you put your location into your profile, there naught be some one local who can bring his bike round for you to look at.

Re: wiring question
Everything on the loom will only plug into a matching colour socket, or won't reach anywhere else- it's hard to get wrong.
HOWEVER
there are two that CAN be wrongly connected- near the battery there are two white/translucent coloured two=pin sockets. One connects the fuel sender, and the other connects the rear coil.
You won't blow anything up wrongly connecting them, but it won't run properly.
As AMcQ says, look at the cable colours.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: wiring question
Yes Dragon is on the West side. Cookie quan said "stay off the West side" so I don't go there. Thanks for the wiring help, everything was plugged in correctly and it fired up first prod. I will try and get to grips with photobucket as Mac suggested and get a pic up of the bike so far. Mac has seen it so can vouch it is at least together lol.
Sometimes just a simple "yes it plugs in there" can be such a help. Cheers all.
