Hi Guys,
Can someone explain what "Bazza manual CCTs fitted" means please? and if it's referring to Cam Chain Tensioners, can I have an explanation on how this particular mod works in practice.
I am going to do some work on the cam chain tensioners and am tossing up which is the best option for me. "Stopper Mod", mechanical, or maybe Bazza mod, but need to know how each one operates so I can make a common sense decision.

Re: Bazza Manual CCTs
Bazza Modded CCT's are standard CCT's with the plunger removed & a length of threaded bar inserted to replace it. Converting it to a manual device as per the APE type.thunderbolt wrote:Hi Guys,

Al will be along shortly to big up ''Stopper Mod'' option. Basically it's free...until they fail then you have to buy a new CCT & do it again...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

I guess the big question is "What do you have on your VTR"?MacV2 wrote:Bazza Modded CCT's are standard CCT's with the plunger removed & a length of threaded bar inserted to replace it. Converting it to a manual device as per the APE type.thunderbolt wrote:Hi Guys,

Re: Bazza Manual CCTs
You will find that most folk on here will have manuals MCCTS, whether that be Bazza's conversions, APE, Kreiga or whatever. They all do the same thing and the only difference between them is price, looks and ease of fitment.
Some folk will go with stopper mod either because they are Scottish
or believe that to have the Honda Auto tensioner working as Honda intended is the better option for smooth operation and longer life of engine components.
