hi, i just got myself a 1997 firestorm and love it to bits, only problem i have with it is it keeps back fireing, i asked my local honda dealer they told me to higher the revs, i put it up to 1300 revs, it cured it a but not completly, if anyone has any ideas would be good, thanks guys :D

could be a bit lean, try opening the air screws 1/4 of a turn.

which cylinder, you can normal tell when it's the front cos it's a loud pop where as rear is muffled cos it's under ya ass.

yeah its always a loud pop at the front, i will try what you said, thanks,, will let u know if it works....

mine was like that at about 3000 revs when i bought it i had it set up on a dyno it was a totally different bike when i got it back so much easier to ride around town etc (and i got a pretty print out of the power curve)

hi, i think the previous owner had race cans on because the original exhausts r in perfect condition, so i dont know if its been dynojetted. i think that is gonna b my next move,,,,,cherrs :D ,,,
