Firestorm Spotted
Any of you Guys or Girls got a black Storm with yellow decals, Art cans and a double bubble fitted? Were you in Abergavenny Stuffing you face with egg and bacon sandwiches?
If so you've been spotted

Uh oh! Sounds like you've got me bang to rights, and all the grizzly details too... it really was a bacon/egg sarnie! As old Bob used to say, "It's good to stalk".
May as well introduce meself now, having lurked around here for a couple of months since joining the seemingly happy ranks of VTR ownership.
Wish I'd known that the yellow ones were faster before I got a black one though

Seems to me though, that all these so called performance aids are a con, when all one needs to do is whip down to Halfords and buy a can of Morris Marina (the older folk will know what one of those is) yellow/orange/terracotta etc., for a guaranteed 20mph increase in top speed.
Back to the original thread-starter, Pete. You must have been the proud SP2 owner who chose to park his pride 'n joy next to my slighlty scruffy 'Storm to make yours look good.
PS...it's too quiet mate...get some pipes and break some windows!

Too old for a paper round, too young to retire, too tired for an affair.

Hi Goose
Welcome on Board
Don't worry about the colour Mate Everyone Knows BLACK will always be the coolest and it doesn't give a monkeys what other colour it's beating
Yep you guessed it, my new pride and joy on it's debut trip. The cans may have to wait for a bit, I've spent all my pennies for the momment. I've still got the Laser pipes I had fitted on my Storm in the garage but I need to find out if they are different for the SP ( Hoping to get away with just new link pipes). The Std pipes are poo but the induction noise from the airbox is superb when ranting it through the lanes
