that position is perfect for me. I've liked your idea a lot, I was looking for viper cans so I almost have it, now my question is: are those brackets forcing the pipes too much or all comes out natural? the standard vipers are quite more horizontal...

Very natural for vipers to sit like that even with storm link pipes .
But for some reason not the oval vipers just the round ones

cool, I have a pair of carbon lasers from my ex-trx850 I want to try first (would require adaptation) but they are a bit small so I think I'll go with the vipers. thanks for all the info

by the way lloydie, do you need new exhaust gaskets when putting on the vipers? on previous bikes the non-oem exhausts fitted snug and I didn't have to use any new gaskets. I can order them together with the exhausts if needed

thanks

Viper link pipes don't need gaskets ,well mine don't .

Today I did a bit more on the race fairing and I think it's past it :-(
So I'll keep an eye out for another one

removed front wheel and disc to gain access to a snapped disc bolt, luckily enough I was able to dremel a line into the small piece of thread on show, and the use a screw driver to unscrew it.....
replaced the wheel and all is well, although I did notices some of the black paint one of the radiators has bubbled and peeled off, so i'll have to address that in spring.

Let's be honest, bacon is a lot like sex..

When it's good, it's really good... When it's not, it's still good
