I have an identical set and was using them today.
They're not great- the pivot pin falls out if you turn them upside down, but you can't strip rear brake lever/master cylinder/linkages without one.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Yep to much faffing about for me...they do work but I shelled out on a set of 4 plier type ones...
