Get some aquarium fish tank filter foam or the more expensive airbox Kart filter foam and cut to shape. It doesn't have to be anything special. Give a light coat of oil when in place. All it does is prevent fine particles getting inside the carb diaphragm which can work it's way out through the slide hole and into the throat.

No specific thickness. As long as it's close to what you have it's all good otherwise you will need to trim it down.
