Had a bit of a shock at the cost of Akra rivets.....they must really like them and want to keep them for themselves at the price they ask....

I knew I would get a reaction......

I found one place selling them on the cheap for $3 us each most spots were asking between $6-9 us each....... like I said it was a bit of a shock for a old timer.......lol
But most of the bits I ordered should show up in the next week or so, just need to find a local shop to swap the springs and should be set for a fun summer

OMG That is outrageous. They should not be more than a $ each and that's not cheap for single rivet. Perfect example of using their name to up the price. I guess it's like a designer charging for their many years experience as well as the hours put into the work.

Though I shouldn't really complain as the Area P packing was a little less than I planned on so all in all not to bad IMHO at $100 us for all the bits and packing needed for 2- 470mm cans

Having to go in to work to sort out a problem when I should have been going up to Coalville to visit the JTS Bike shop.

At least I can get up there tomorrow though...
