25mm, used 38 x 25mm battens for fixing the cladding

I wanted something similar for my garden as a workshop but looking under building reg if it was made out of wood it had to be a meter or more away from a boundary. Have you found a way around that or have you cheated? Tis looking good and I'm only a tad jealous

The now metre boundary only counts if its not fireproofed I think, the main things is that height is under 2.5 metres, doesn't exceeds 15 m2 and not a dwelling.

Sorry late reply. Didn't see yours haha. So if I was to put a fireproof lining inside I would be ok to have a wooden workshop next to a fence? The way I read it was not within a meter of a boundary if constructed of mainly combustible materials

Mine is not fireproofed, but I think you can paint a fireproofing onto the wood, when I looked through the requirements from dunster, within a metre of a boundary was not an issue.

And that noise that sounds like fingernails being dragged down a Blackboard. Good stuff that Celotex just don't go painting it. Now that is an unpleasant job as it requires being primed in Zinnser bin which is meths based.

I looked into buying a log cabin at one stage and putting it at the bottom of a friends garden. The following is what I wanted.

Christ it looks like it has a real tiled roof, I'm just looking forward to having space to move around and work on the storm more comfortable. I have always made do with things that were the minimum to complete the job, I ,saved for many years for this, and doing it as well as I can.

It was going to be my home. But the whole idea went out of the window once we added up all the expenses on top of the cabin to make it habitable.

I think you should give your shed a VTR1000 Theme with it's own alter (different from Macs) but unique. Then we can enter you into shed of year.
