Was cheered up by winning an SP2 on BayWatch.
Let's see if I'm still cheered up when I see it in the flesh.
(The colours might take a bit of getting used to, though).

So I'm happier about breaking up the Storm.

But it's still like looking an old friend in the eye and shaking his hand while booting him in the bolox.

They never did make a yellow SP2, apparently.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Good work Tony, you will soon have it sorted, or stripped!

A day out on the new bike :D
Took a steady trip down to the the caravan we have in Brean via the A roads. Winter proofed the van and then took off through the back lanes towards home. Had some fun up the Cheddar Gorge and managed to cause a little mayhem through east and west Harptree.
I think I'm going to like this bike, can't wait to finish getting it ran in and give it a proper go. It's already feeling very promising. 175 miles on one tank and mid 50's to the gallon. I bet that drops when I up the revs :P

does it feel odd! i instantly liked the IL4 bit but did miss the noise, i was impressed with the pick up though as id thought i would miss initial grunt.

They feel so much smoother and don't vibe sat at traffic lights. maybe a slight loss of character. but up round 6000 they just bloody fly.
I like the bike Pete apart from a slight "budgie" look to the front fairing. They will be a big seller iam sure. maybe meet up halfway for a blast next year. I often go to that area for a ride.

It does feel pretty odd. I would swear it's over revving at a steady 70 and I keep trying to find 7th gear....even with a built in gear indicator. Note to self. look at the damn thing occasionally :whatever
I too thought I would miss the torque but inline fours appear to have improved in that department since I last had one. pick from 2k in top would still leave any but the most sporty cars well in your wake so you can be quite lazy if you aren't in a massive rush. Or you can keep it above 6k and power whealy past them in second gear. :Woohoo:
The fairing is a bit contentious, You either like it or hate it  It is a bit beaky looking but for me, I'd rather that than no fairing at all. Others would rather no fairing at all. I just like a bit of wind and rain protection and have probably done too many winter miles in the past to be without one. Actually, the SP gives better protection from the elements. It produces a pretty good envelope you can tuck yourself into.

We'll definitely have to have a little ride out
I've already spotted a few little grumbles and been told "well it is a Suzuki and not a HRC Honda" :D
I't be good to compare notes first hand  Maybe even get a little mini meet going for anyone in the area
