What's cheered me up?
I actually made it out on the bike today
Lloyd was good enough to join me for 1st time on my bike in nearly 3 months. Covered about 70ish miles.
The leg, Supprisingly, didn't bother me. The wrist was sore but not quite as bad as I was expecting. Only really to be upset when I hit a bigger bump in the road or held a steady throttle for to long. All in all very pleased and can't wait to be able to get on again

Chris get your self one of these...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... acat=10063
Highly recomended for Wonky Wrist. Takes a bit of getting used to at first but bloody good for long M-way miles. You dont grip the bar at all just hold the throttle open with the weight of your hand. Takes the strain off your wrist. It just slides on, no glue or anything so If you can't get on with it or want it off when on a track day it just slides off.

Cheers mac
I had thought about one of those but I don't aim to do motorway miles. Might be worth a try though. I'll have to see how the wrist is next year. I'm hoping with a bit more time the pain/stiffness will die down and it'll be almost back to normal. Fingers crossed

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?
I could not sleep at all last night. Hard to come off night shifta sometimes!
Anyway I decided to throw a couple of dollars onto online poker. Entered a 2 dollar tournament with 113 others.
Won the tournament and had 173 dollars coming my way (£114).
So that will either go towards what I have already spent on the bike.....or be added to it!
Either way a great start to a Friday morning.

If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

Home at 13.30...
Two days of doing a block treatment...7 floors 44 flats.
Despite letters having been hand delivered to each flat only got into 25 of the flats...
It didn't help that the muppet who printed off the letters, a senior manager failed to put the correct dates on...3rd/4th of November when it should have been December...
Then the other Manager who delivered them by hand didn't even notice...mainly as he didn't even read them to check...
Brewrey & piss up spring to mind...
