I first thought I was Tony's SP2, and thought to myself "it hasn't taken him long to start tinkering with it" :)

I think it looks quite good in the drawing stage:-

I agree the lines look fine but then the designer decided for some daft reason to string the bodywork like a badly strung tennis racket making it a Turnip Prize contender.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I can only assume that the wire wool fairing was a mark 2 design after the starched wooly knitted one didn't work out quite as well as the finite element analysis suggested.

But why are here cable ties round the tyres, holding them to the rims?
I'll find out tomorrow. I've just added some of these to my commuter, and I'll report back if they make it any quicker.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

For me nasty are mirror extenders on vtr. This is just stylish bike based on famous superbike using top quality parts, nothing you can really ride. Quite refreshing after load of caferacer and scrambler rubbish. At least it has strong reactions, what is mark of quality.

i think had it of been done to a lesser bike like a gsxr or ninja it would of been an improvement ,but taking a modern classic like the sp and doing this to it the builder needs shot .

somebody can take the parts left from this build, and refresh another VTR SP to top condition (if these parts are) :D

I think you're right there Chris, the concept looks good, but maybe they got a little carried away?

I love it, personally. Just swap the fairings for RS125 and we are cooking on gas
