top yoke conversion

Post by fabiostar »

AS above folks, iv changed to vfr800 bars so iv a set of .polished alloy bar risers with low rise Renthals if anybody fancies them,, bars are in good nick and risers are polished. simple to fit , just two holes drilled into the yoke, pop them on and thats it sorted. any bolts required are with them..

drop me a wee msg or pm me.. £30 posted to the sunny mainland.

iv also got a small Brembo resevoir that will go with it which aids clearance on the fairing.

cheers

You mention clearing the fairing.

Is that totally or is there some cutting required?

Are the VFR bars close to the same position as the riser bars?

Haha I just don't like removing my fairing.

How much is actually taken off? Are we talking a few mm?

the vfr bars are pretty much the same height as the top yoke set i had but with the vfr bars i can adjust them backwards to suit my wee short hairy arms...

i find them a little better because as i said being on the little side i can pull the 800 bars back a little so im not draped over the tank so much otherwise id have kept them.. dam my short arms lol
