Exhaust hangers

Post by Seeker 77 »

Anything considered guys, I only take a pillion now and then and would like something a bit more attractive to hang the exhausts from. Ebay throws up nothing except hideous 'GSXR-esque' chrome items with VTR cut into them!

I got a set of them with my viper pipes, only problem is they allow a fair bit more side to side movement than the stock Honda ones, especially if you don't use the mounting lugs on the bottom of the footrests (which I don't as the rear sets don't have that fitting).

Lloydie was following me when I had them fitted and he said it was scary watching how much the pipes were moving as I was throwing the bike around the lanes... So just something to watch out for

They'd make good bungee points for camping gear!
The original ones are a bit too thick for normal bungee hooks.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I'm going to grind off the footpegs, clean them up and polish or powdercoat them, should be spot on then :)
