TRX "Garage Queen"

Post by Mav617 »

Well, she has been in the garage all winter, spring and most of summer but finally got an outing today. Changed the oil and filter then headed off for a shakedown ride through West Sussex. Amazingly, nothing fell off, not even yours truly,

And for new members wondering why there's a Yam on here, I did have a Storm once (The Hound):

Loved my TRX, great bike , more than the sum of it's parts and sounded great with the Staintune mufflers.

Only problem was it didn't have enough mumbo.

That is what lead me to the VTR!

Mine was one of the last here in Oz being a 2001 model.

It was called the Millenium model and was a marketing exercise here by Yamaha Oz .

It came with the Stainies and a belly pan and was black.

Great fun!

And now I have two of them.....one with a sorted chassis and one with a very good engine. So the plan is to move all the decent chassis bits to the one with the decent engine over the summer:
