The route posted above is 200 miles, so fill up before leaving then 2 more fuel stops, I can make the route shorter by missing out Padstow (which I put in for somewhere to go) and going to Boscastle instead, this will shorten it by about 40 miles (I think), question is how many miles do we want to do in the day ???.

We will either have breakfast before leaving or stop on way down, we can discus on the day, we'll stop at Padstow/Boscastle (whichever's decided) and again at Dartmeet, there will be a fuel stop near Camelford and another at Whiddon down.

Sunday's ride is like an inside loop of Saturday's route taking in different roads, there will be an option for those who want a shorter ride to peel off back to Westward Ho this would be about 65 miles, for those who want to go further after the loop we'll head across country to Bude then back up the A39..

Both routes are on different roads.

On the weekend I will do a list of destinations and will have some copies for anyone who wants them, it won't be a mapped route but key points in case anyone gets lost or is off the back for whatever reason, this will keep the main bulk of riders together, in general the rides will be like last year, I will stop at turn off points and wait for tail end Charlie to come in to site, then continue, this will allow everyone to ride at a pace they are comfortable with and not put pressure to ride out of comfort zone..

Putting it out there could we sort out a BBQ this year if the weather is good, I will have the back box on so will have space to pick up disposable BBQ's after the ride if others pull together and get meat etc.

My bbq has sat outside for years and I wouldn't want to use it again, it's rusty and mouldy. I'm not planning on getting another as don't use enough. the only other option is disposable bbq but we would not be allowed to have it on the grass as they burn. I'm up for eating in one of the pubs or other eateries. if anyone wants a bbq though the disposable is an option on the pathway
