Cam timing?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Oh, ok, no idea then, I prefer to have no evidence at all.... It's only a matter if time, i feel, before one of our lot is banned for riding like an butt (what other way is there?) based on the evidence of a vegetarian pensioner's Ford Ka onboard photograph-the-evidence-of-your-own-accident glory box.

Everyone to their own, I suppose.

Something tells me I should have thought about the riding like a tw@ before I bought it, mind you I only wanted to record how much of a tw@ I am. comments please.
It's only a cheap Chinese one tho.
Can't work out how or where to mount it, and after a couple of hours trying the various fittings this way and that it's back in the box.

That's the same mounting solution I was using in Yorkshire.

vibration wasn't too bad but obviously I was staying below 3 figure speeds most of the time 8)

I bought a genuine GoPro suction cup mount (the SJ uses the same mount design) and stuck that on the front of the fairing above the headlight. It's very steady and you can't see any incriminating speeds...

If you want to mount a camera you may need a stepladder :biggrin

As we are on the subject of evidence that can possibly be used against us. I think it's about time that these manufactures started to incorporate password protection and encrypted data for security purposes on these devices. It could be designed with production companies in mind that don't want precious footage filmed stolen and used if a camera is lost or stolen. Participants only signed release forms for the production companies to use the footage not someone else. There must be some kind of legal loopholes here that will allow the likes of gopro to protect users data to a higher level of security.

Depends what you want it for really. In my case purely town riding evidence. You know what oblivious arses are about, as an example i just rode through Stockport and an old geezer pulled out in front of me, he apologised and I was ready for him, but one day I might not be and then hopefully the camera will serve it's purpose, if I'm still alive that is.
Ride safe lads
