I bought my vtr because it was cheap..... £700
I joined the forum to learn more about them. It was only then I learned of the cct problems. I have subsequently put manuals in and now it's my favourite bike.
I only wish the tank was as big as the vfr750 rc24 I have.

I joined the forum, much like I would for any model of bike I buy and then found out about the CCT problem.

The question should be " have you sold your storm but stayed on the forum and why ".

Well the reason is that this is probably one of the most friendly forums I have come across on the internet, where people really do want to help each other, and problem solve properly, rather than lash out with 101 problems it might be.

I really love Firestorms and would own one in a heartbeat, but on my second one I got an offer I couldn't refuse swapping it and at the time I was really getting fed up with the constant fuel filling, really was not an idea bike for what I wanted to use it for.

I would love to come to events and meet up with some of the people here on the forum, but the club I am in pretty much eats up all the time I have.

Should have got a big twin with good fuelling then, I get 200 miles a tank from my GS usually and it takes a really heavy hand to make it even think about dropping below 40mpg

I am now worried about the use of "submitted and Sleep" in that reply...... have you been experimenting with Rohypnol ready for Wales trip?
