Hi, last week I took my front wheel in to be powder coated along with new tyre, it's all done and at tyre fitters now, just had a call as to which way around tyre fits as there are no rotation markings on the wheel itself.
Is there a quick way to tell him over the phone as I can't get round there?
Thanks

Re: Wheel rotation
Hi John, if you imagine the 3 spokes have a profile of a wing.
The fattest part runs through the air first.
Does it make sense?

Re: Wheel rotation
Yes it does thanks, so to confirm, that means all the writing (Honda, tubeless, ettc) would be on the right side?
Cheers.

Re: Wheel rotation
Sorry John, in my shorts on the pc & it's raining so no go for that info. Sry.
I am sure someone else will chime in in a mo though

Re: Wheel rotation
Just popped to the shed, all the writing is on the right when sitting on the bike

Excellent thanks.Varastorm wrote:Just popped to the shed, all the writing is on the right when sitting on the bike
It never occurred to me there would be some confusion over fitting.
Re: Wheel rotation
Just make sure you have the rotation direction arrows on the discs the right way round.
It doesn't seem to make a difference, but every time you park it someone will tell you your wheel's in backwards...

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
