Brake seals

Hi guys,

Would you trust a brake seal kit from Wemoto or would you spend over double to buy the genuine Honda items?

Wemoto are very reputable firm. I have used them loads of times and I don't think they would sell anything they believed to be inferior. Postage is quick from them too

I recommend Wemoto as well. I have ordered loads of stuff in the past for Yams n' Hondas, and have never had reason to send anything back. The quality of aftermarket bits supplied by them is (to me) 99%. Yes, there might be slight differences in the finish (cheaper plastic moulding, and gaskets not fully trimmed (I've found that a few times), but that's rare thesedays.

As you've probably already seen on Wemoto, they have OEM part photos, and if they stock the aftermarket equivalent, they have a pic of that too. I don't always go for price saving, and a fair bit of stuff ordered is genuine Honda. More expensive, but just for personal piece of mind.

When it comes to things like brake seals I prefer to stick with genuine Honda parts, although there is probably nothing wrong with some after market parts as others have said, it's your choice really,

iv used wemoto seals in mine and have had no problems

For me, I would use OEM but either should work just fine.

The one thing I would add is the often over looked assembly fluid. Yes some brake fluid will work but there is a better way:

Use it once and you won't go back to just brake fluid unless it is an emergency.
