Bucket shims!!!

Post by BrianC »

Anyone got an alternative supplier for these other than ds?

Im very grateful that ds are around and i buy loads of stuff from them, but £6+ plus vat for a shim????

And im just optioneering on my latest storm engine as the 2.4mm that are in are too big so i cant get a gap reading, so im starting with some 1.2 shims to get a reading so i then know wjich i actually need.

Why can't you use the ones from your old head?
Or temporarily borrow the ones from your rear head, just to measure the gap so you can calculate what size you need to buy?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
