I have 112mm from top of the dust cap to underside of bottom yoke. The stem is 20mm longer in the VFR effectively reducing/lowering the front by 20mm, but the storm forks will have much less sag than the stock bike so height will be similar, it's just the available fork travel that's effected.
I've always set my suspension so it leaves 10mm of travel in case you hit a bump for example under full braking. Seems like I need another 8mm, I'll try and push the forks down through the bars 8mm and see how it looks, bars are 25mm so will still leave 17mm of fork for the bars to clamp to. I will also check on my firestorm forks as I have a cable tie on one leg and see what travel has been used. Should give me a good idea to get it right.
