Help, any Irish forum members

Post by cheekykev »

I'm thinking of doing a trip over to Ireland some time in July, the plan is for me and my son (cheekyads) who is now 17 to come over in the van with the bike in the back, then ride around the North West/ West side, do any of you Irish members know of places to stay, guest houses, campsites, or even better still, someone who wouldn't mind putting us up for a spell, we're looking at spending about a week over there.
This is still in the early planing stage so all ideas, advise, routes to take etc are welcome

Pm,D....

but further to the pm. if you base yourself in around my gaff. you are at the start of the A2 coast road. you have to ride that road and midweek its always empty. up through larne, towards Ballycastle and portrush, you can take a spin round the NW200 course and donagal west coast is only an hour away

bike safety wise its pretty good up north, not unheard of the odd one maybe goes missing but its not a regular thing.

places to avoid ? well not really anything because bikers are just bikers over here and nobody looks twice at them. even on like blue bikes lol

if you do go ahead with the trip il send you my number and we can have a proper chat about places to stay depending were you wana end up but il not see you stuck for somewere to put your head down hows that.. you would also have secure parking here if you wanted to do day trips into the like belfast.

the Armoy road races are the last weekend in july if thats of interest. completly insane road race by the way.
the older i get,the faster i was
