Re: Whats cheered you up today...?
I found out yesterday I have been given a temporary promotion. Only for six months but should let me gain the experience needed to have a permanent promotion in future.
That was yesterday. Today I was figuring out how much I'd spend on fuel. At the minute I live two miles from work so I cannot justify using the bike. The new job is 17 miles away so it seems I will get a good summer on it! On top of that I will get an "acting" allowance which more than makes up for the fuel costs. Can't complain and that definitely cheered me up.

Ended up quickly picking something up at wemoto this morning in uniform. Turns out I get 10% off! I wish I had realised two months ago but nice to know going forward.
