marshalling

Post by alanfjones1411 »

First time on my bike for 3 weeks to help with marshalling my mates funeral.Had a police car front and back of the procession, but they let us hold the traffic at road junctions.Could not have been organised better.Over 150 bikers turned out to see him off and we have made it into the local papers.Just hope the woman that done the U turn in front of him gets a serious penalty. My third time of marshalling never hope to do it again :( :( :(
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

Good on you for doing that alan

Its a thankless task, where you never can do right.

I do it regular for charity runs and try to be mindful of all the road users

A sad time, but a great way to celebrate the life of your mate.
