Under seat guts pic request..

Any chance someone could take (or has) an under seat picture for me? Google images isn't coming up with the goods!

I looking to get a 1000f again, and one I went to see tonight had a very shiney square cross beam behind the tank bolts, that just looked out of place, right under where your 'Man nuts' would be..

.. it also had pretty snotty welds on it..

Not a great photo and I blew the size up for you so a bit grainy, but there is a square section alloy tube welded between the castings at the back of the tank, usually has the tank mount bolted to it and the bundle of connectors in their shroud just behind.

Yeah that's the piece I'm on about! :-) an overhead of that would be great.

It was just far to 'new lookin' for the rest of the bike, and had untidy welds and A B lettering on one side of it

B/ Unless it's stripped down you cant see it...

C/ It's not a Moriwaki, Harris, Spondon ect. weliding artisan doing it...probably a robot named Dave San...

D/ It may have been done on a late Friday shift...see 70's UK car building...

E/ Your a fussy bugger...Now have a look at the lower bar on the subframe under the battery box...

You could sand it down and polish it out
I find some of my best welding is done with a grinder lol

FFS...Why are you so worried about what a bit of welding ( that you can't even see unless the bikes stripped... ) looks like...????

Actually they are not the most tidy welds either. Well not the frames and swingarms anyway, but If you want nice welds take a look at the ladybird exhausts
