I know it’s summer now but the headlight is pretty weedy.
I’m wondering what the lamp upgrade options are?

Thanks Wicky, last update on that post is 2016, I'm going to bump it, see if any advances in technology since then....

With an inverter producing 240v AC you could add anything you wanted, spotlight, laser, standard lamp- anything!
(as long as it doesn't draw too much current- if so, have a look at a Varadero stator).
Just think outside the box.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Ha ha, I’m thinking about a certain Ogri cartoon that older members may recall where Malcolm straps a searchlight onto “lunge”!!

I've just installed relays for my headlight and even with a totally standard bulb it's waaaaaay better. Highly recommended. You can either buy kits or buy the parts yourself (which I did). There's loads of info online about how to do it.
