Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today I have just finished, changing brake pads, discs, brake fluid and the CCT. I was very proud of myself. I only snapped two of the brake disc screws in the process
. First spin out on the bike, brake and new tyres made the world of difference. However, just pull in the garage and I have smoke coming from the engine, gutted. I'm hoping it's a coolant pipe I have damaged in the process of changing the CCT.
I will let u know,

Looks suspiciously like my old Teal Storm that

I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Got some used yellow HEL front and rear braided lines off eBay for £33.50 inc postage. Won't enhance my riding but will enhance the bling factor!
Also done the right thing by ordering new washers!

Cheers. Yes, I think any smaller, lighter bike can be a joy after we're hauling round these VTR behomoths. Downside is that the Daytona, like the 675s and newer Street Triples is a smaller bike and not as ergonomically comfortable as our Storms.
I know I'm repeating myself, but like many others on here, there's something intoxicating about the Storm. Not the best looker in the street, and in standard form not the best handler or most powerful. But at the end of the day, do you want to ride a fully-optioned Kim Kardashian or a basic down-to-earth Cameron Diaz?

Hi Mav617, is it your old bike? It's a great bike. It's my first storm and I love it. High level cans next I think.. £££Mav617 wrote:Looks suspiciously like my old Teal Storm that

Ah well, worth a try. Actually the belly pan would have given it away if I'd looked properly.....
