E10- now they're queuing round the block for it
Since the news announcement that some petrol stations were having to close due to lack of tanker drivers, everyone wants the stuff!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

It was always going to happen as soon as they announced there would be a shortage of fuel.Madness created by fuel companies.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
Re: E10- now they're queuing round the block for it
Needed fule on the way home. Mahossif que to get in to the forecourt.
Apparently only the pay as you go pumps open as other tanks out of fule.
Wendeld me way to the front of the que as you do on a bike much to the annoyment of all the cagers.
Open tank bag cant find me bloody wallet...
I'd parked up at work & went in & realised I'd left me fag tin in the van. Left all me bags n stuff in the locker room but took me wallet with me.
So I'm in the petrol station franticaly looking for it & think I've left it in me trews which are in me locker.
So abbandon fule stop, head all the way back to the depot, park up go to the locker room, check me trews...No wallet...starting to panic now a bit...
Grab me emergency £10 out of the tank bag & the van keys but decide to go back to the bike & reckeck the tank bag...Sure enough it's in there just hidden under some stuff... Phew.
Head back off go to a different fule station as the traffic was pants heading to the first one.
Same thing huge que but the joys of a M/C slipped through & filled up. Headed home finaly.
I wouldn't mind but I had finished really early, left around 2o/c yet with all the faffing around still didn't get home till gone 15.00...
Still on the bright side only 3 1/2 days to go & now more Greenwich...

On the even brighter side we now know you stash a tenner in your tank bag...

Conspiracy theory - all set up by fuel companies
Bio fuels have a shelf life (all fuels have a shelf life) and most of us have not burnt much in the last 18 months. It is actually mentioned that biofuel tanks need periodically draining and refilling fresh fuel to prevent degraded fuel contaminating the new
or just a coincidence ?

Re: E10- now they're queuing round the block for it
My first vtr ride was sadly looking for petrol around where I live.
Eventually filled up a few days later.
I queued,but other (scooter) riders weren't.
Had a row with a car driver who pushed in front of me (while initially making out he was trying to turn into a junction).
It escalated to some robust Anglo Saxon verbage from myself, most unlike me,and he decided to depart.
But mostly good natured ......

Filled my car up today and the man in front of me put £7:62 worth in his Range Rover. It's people like that causing the queues.
