This pic is worrying, not only was I unawhare of how big the bald patch is getting but fek me the gray at the back as well

Start shaving it or let it grow out for a laugh...

He won't catch me, I have a head start.
Fixed! Made some brackets from aluminium sheet. Taillight is now rigidly mounted to the subframe... I will no longer fall victim to Honda's stupid-ass design....mik_str wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 10:21 pm went for a short ride this morning and propped the bike up on the stand afterwards to lube the chain. Lo and behold, the two tabs holding the taillight in place are broken... AGAIN!!!!!!!![]()
This is the fourth time I have had this happen. The person who designed this feeble, backass set-up should be drawn and quartered. I will fix it correctly once and for all by making brackets to mount the taillight to the subframe.

Are you still running standard bulbs? If so, check them regularly, they won't last as long with the light mounted rigidly.mik_str wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 11:20 pmFixed! I'm running an LED taillight, been for years now. As for the mount, it's semi-rigid as the rubber "bushings" are still in place. The difference is that I am no longer relying on these useless, flimsy mounts in the tail cowl for support.tony.mon wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 9:22 amAre you still running standard bulbs? Great to see the photo's Al thanks for posting them upAMCQ46 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 5:03 pm Prescott bike festival.
The butchered classic group were there in force as well as some strange machinery, and an ex moriwaki race VTR.
As we walked the paddoc there was 2 Ducati V4S panagali’s both with the left clipon snapped off, asked what happened and it turned out a Morgan 3 wheeler had turned a bit tight and knocked the one over and it dominoes the 2nd one.
I didn’t photo that as it was a sad sight.
Some other photos for you
