Operation Storm Scotland 18th - 21st July 25

Post by AMCQ46 »

Back agin for 2025 is our pligramige to the South West of Scotland, after a year out to make room for northumberland we will have both next year.

format is the same as before and we are based at the Inn on the loch, Crocketford.
Arrive Friday (option for a ride out in the afternoon if there are enough getting there early), BBQ Friday night, 250mile ride out Saturday, team meal in the pub Saturday night, and for those who are staying Sunday night (or have a late ferry) there will be a ride out on Sunday as well.

All the rooms I have booked are filled at the moment, but I can book more and cancel for free up till the week before, or you can do like Flatline and book an AirB&B nearby.

Evening all,
After some nagging and further permission slips being signed both my bro, lindsay that most know, and my bro in law, Chris, that you all don't, have been granted by their other halfs to get along for this blast.
Lindsay had not been on this since the old camping days.
Anyway Mr McQueen, can you book them a twin room for the 2 nights please.

Cheers.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

Just to let you all know that Nicole will be with me in the van, as we'll be touring around the area before or after, or both.
So I'll be on my best behaviour all weekend.

I am looking forwards to seeing this best behaviour you talk of.

Last few times you have had your better half / carer with you there was only marginal changes in the drinking habits

Hi Al.
Me and Mark are going to have to drop out.
I can't make any plans at the moment so just let our room go.
If things change we'll just come up and find somewhere to stay, if not at the same place, we'll just stay as close as possible.

Ok Kev, that’s a shame as you would enjoy the roads up there…..I will drop your room from the booking
