Another one converted to the dark side ...

Post by Sampy »

Was at the NABD rally at Oxford on Friday night when a guy walks up and asks me if I've had any problems with over-heating due to the lack of fairing on my 'Storm 'fighter?

I haven't, so I told him that. 'Cool', he says, 'I've just bought one and I hate the fact that it looks like all the others so I'm going to rip the fairing off and streetfighter it'.

:D

because the radiators are on the side of the storm I think honda designed the fairing to pass more air around the side of the bike than a normal bike with the radiator at the front.

Without the fairing the radiators are hitting the air edge on so there wont be much air passing through the cooling fins.

possibly
