Two bikers dead

Post by Bondy »

Two motorcyclists have been killed in an accident involving an articulated lorry on an Essex stretch of the M25.
The lorry collided with three cars and five motorcycles after it crossed carriageways near junction 28 for the A12 and Brook Street Roundabout.

It ended up lying on its side across three lanes following the accident on Saturday morning.

Diversions have been put in place and the road is likely to stay closed until mid afternoon on Saturday.
To stupid to live to young to die.

Scary sh*t. You never know the minute. Think this is someones way of tellin us to live every moment to the full.

I was decorating my utility room when I heard the radio on Saturday. I thought I heard "5 motorcycles" but didn't hear it again so I thought I'd mis-heard.

Poor sods - all the safe riding and speed awareness in the world won't help you in these situations.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Sounds like a very similar accident that killed Mike the bike Hailwood and one of his children many years ago, those of you who are old enough to remember that :!:

Very sad :!:

Just more reminders that the law means squat. As motorcyclists, we're responsible for our own safety, no matter who's "in the right".

The responsibility is ours. Expect everything.
