Drove up to Rivvy (can't stand riding in the rain!) and had a butchers, it was pretty sad to be honest, there were about 3 stalls! Had a cuppa then drove over to Hoghton Tower to have a look at the sprint. There were quite a few people there, probably as many as last year but strangely no stalls at the top. Watched some classics go up the sprint which was entertaining (and loud!) but didn't notice much modern tackle in the paddock. Usually it attracts the odd stretched Busa or full on ZX12 drag bike but not this year. I get the impression that the weather put a dampener (groan) on both events and they'd have been much better otherwise. Still, last year it was snowing when we turned up at the sprint so that's progress!!
