site owner?

Post by KarlosVTR »

so does the site owner tell the companies in the dodgy dealer section that comments have been made to that effect?

ive been contacted via members of my family that legal action could be taken against me personally for making comments about services provided.

why does this site have a dodgy dealer section if the comments are passed to the companies in question?

if this is not the case, i think i shall be taking legal action against the said parties

why doesnt a company who have had a bad report against them look into why someone gave a bad report and find why that person got a bad service rather than trying to take that person to court for slander etc. and try to improve their service to stop whatever happened again.any company that provides a service will find it is easier to get complaints than compliments

as to what action a company can take against a person they cannot sue you if the info is correct.

a sto finding out who posted what anyone can see that so all the garage owner has to do is do a web search, the info may have been found by a employee or even a family member may have seen it.

I think you are entitled to an opinion, if you think the service you got was crap or you feel you were ripped off, posting an opinion , is just that, and not slander, ..ie.. i went to joes garage and they made me wait two weeks for a basic service, when i eventually got my bike back they charged me for storage, I wont be going back and would advise all here to avoid them..
I would think slander would come into it if you named a particular person, and not a company? IMO...

I think what Jeremy Clarkson said apply here when Vauxhall took him to court over what he said about the vectra when it first came out
every thing I said about the car is true and the rest is my opinion
he won

If I might add my two penneth, the person in question only knew about the post as when you search for him in Yahoo, the post by Karlos (now removed) came up 4th on the search.

IMHO, best now left to fade away.
