You cannot be serious!!

Post by bob the builder »

I know it's a bike forum but for fckus sake that was never a foul for the Italians, and now the jammy English buggers can qualify by drawing against they useless gits from Croatia!!
Lord give me strength!
Still ,I suppose we expected so much, yet we were always heading for a hiding.
Anyway ,I am a happy camper 'cos decided that as no offers for the VTR came forward, I kept the VTR and even won a pair of Yoshimura Titanium cans on fleabay. They arived today and are now fitted. Sound the baldrocks and look superb ( Furniture for front bedroom can wait!)

Also, am running in my (soon to be 16)son's new Rieju 50 SX (derestricted), what a blast. 55 flat out and heady stream of 2 stroke oil to follow. Feel's like 16 all over again. Unfortunately 16 year old girls laugh at fatting middle aged bloke on 50cc and laugh.

Old fart reliving his youth I hear.

Can the multi-millonaire boys do it then?

We wait and see!

Hey Bob whatever floats your boat mate, what's wrong with reliving your youth screwing the neck of a wee 2-stroke till it screams? Thye love it, it's where they 'live' - me I think all 2-strokes are masochists, or at least were deesigned by a sadist!

I love blatting around on wor lass' prilli 125 (full power) it's awsome! Trouble is she don't let me too much now in case I break it like I did her Hornet! - LOL

I've got the 125 stage to look forward to then!

Just watched the highlights (again), we wuz definately robbed, ahem, Baz was miles onside when he scored the equalizer.

But ,hey ho, we can still bask in our "nearly done it" glory.

Having managed both my son's footbal teams and indeed played for a few years masel' ( me and Dazjm both graced a Sunday pub team together) I was a bit miffed at "Big 'Eck" starting with one striker, i mean we have to win the fcuking game, surely 4-4-2 was the way to go.

'Tis the reason I manage train drivers and not the national football team I Suppose!!

Latest News

TRIBUTES are being paid to Scotland this morning after the entire country laughed itself to death.

The alarm was first raised at around 10pm last night as thousands of phone calls and text messages went unanswered.

Small groups of volunteers from Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Carlisle ventured north just after midnight only to find houses full of dead people gathered around still blaring television sets.

By dawn, as RAF helicopters flew over deserted city streets, it was clear that the whole country had suffered a catastrophic abdominal rupture.

Wayne Hayes, a special constable from Northumberland, said: "We went into one house in Dunbar and found three men sitting on the sofa with huge smiles on their faces, still holding cans of 70 shilling. They seemed to be at peace."

He added: "In a house near Edinburgh we found a man face down on the living room floor with his trousers and pants round his knees.

"It seems he may have been showing his bare buttocks to the television when he keeled over."

Roy Hobbs, a civil engineer from Northampton, said: "I got a call from my friend Ian in Stirling at about 9.50pm.

"He was already laughing when I answered the phone, but after about 25 minutes of the most vigorous and uncontrollable hilarity, everything suddenly went very quiet."

Moving tributes are already being placed along the Scotland-England border with many mourners opting to leave a simple bag of chips or a deep fried bunch of flowers.

England only lost because their goalkeeper was a Scott
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Can't be botherd quoting it - a bit big, but....

Kev - post - L  M  F  A  O

Personally I'm not too bothered as I haven't followed football anything like seriously since about '79/'80.

I did watch bits of it last night, on and off but was a tad busy doing other things.

Unbelievably predictable though, England yet again snatch failure from the verge of success, too little too late.

Goalie should never have been put in that situation - IMHO

IMHO - massively overpaid under motivated prima donnas at least in Premiership, also IMHO the worst thing that ever happened to British football.

It doesn't help that 'the' Premiership is awash with foregin talent, while our own young talent has very little funding (by comparison) to encourage its growth.

*FA moving its HQ at the expense of the youth programme funding?
*FA spending God knows how much money to replace one 'National' stadium with limited access across the contry, with yet another 'National' stadium with limited access from the rest of the country.
The Midlands somewhere, would have been an ideal location IMO and has superb access links from around the country, by rail, by air and by road (not withstandaing M6/M42 traffic jams  ).

TBH I'd rather watch RL or even RU.

Got to admit I had a wee smile on me face after the game. I think the biggest problem is too many good players, we would give an arm and a leg for a "Rooney" or indeed a "Beckham". But they just can't get a bunch of individuals to blend.
I think the lack of home grown talent in the Premiership may have an influence but lets face it it's good to watch (mostly) and is worth millions.
