A: Dremel or file the "U" shaped cut out in the lock plate deeper almost back to the tube that runs underneath it, this allows the seat to come back a bit further when you unlock it.
B: Bend the two wire loops that come up from the subframe forward 5 to 10mm, this will allows the seat to come up a bit higher when you unlock it
This made mine a lot easier to get off
Or as Tattie sugested swap over the seat hooks under the seat so they sit outside the loops, this allows the seat to just lift up when you unlock it. This method makes it easier for thieves to access your under seat area as you can force up the middle of the seat until the front seat lug pops out from under the tank:!: (same as fitting a Corbin as they dont have hooks)
