Bob the Builder here with an update on the Kwacker. done about 1500 miles now and lovin' it!!

Whilst it does not sound anywhere near as impresssive as the Storm ( i hear Daz comin' a freakin' mile off with me old Art's on!!) it really does handle so much better.

The fuelling is desribed on the MCN review website as perfect, I agree. It is so easy to bimble along at 30 in 6th without any protest or jerking, that's ecu progress for you.

It's so light that my sixteen year old son has had a shot (on track of course) and turned it with no effort.

Finish is good but paint is nowhere near as thick as my previous Honda bikes.

Handling is absolutely fantastic, as i am sure you would expect from a bike weighing 164 kilos with 128 bhp!!

The bike is very comfy even over a decent distance and does about 150 miles to the tank.

Overall, an excellent buy for a "600", very usable everyday, high grin factor at the top end of the rev range and that much quoted airbox howl is true and very addictive.

Daz pop's round regular on the VTR and lets me see what i am missing, next spring I hope to be getting mesel another Storm.

From what ive seen, its a bit rough round the edges, beginning to look its age, and could use a bit of work done.

BUT enough about Bob...

His green machine is wombles mint! And hes allowing me a go of it soon!

Me n Bob went out for a run on the bikes earlier, and took a couple o snaps!

Bob let me loose on his pride n joy on the way back

Amazing! is all i can say. Found myself smiling from ear to ear. Its a very confidence instilling machine, imo. Perhaps it was down to the very smooth acceleration, or the fact i felt i could throw it into corners without worrying, but probably more the fact that the front brakes were superb.

Unlike my "death trap" front brakes, which Bob had the pleasure of experiencing

Bob wasnt camera shy, the batts ran outta the camera, before we could get his mugshot!

keep an aye on the engine casings and wheels bob, they peel like shite..a couple of m8's have em and both went shitty within 12-18 months

but nice bike all the same, glad your enjoying it

'Tis a Powerbroze richt' enough! Well spotted.

The bike has covered just 2000 miles on the 05 plate, so no sign of paint peeling YET!! One will keep a very close eye on things though. I don't think it has ever seen rain (apart from today) as it is as new.

Daz's brakes.................Jeez, after all these years biking they qualify as the worst ever felt!

Come on gents and ladies, trawl that garage or shed someone might have non-warped discs or original calipers at a bargain price for this young man.

It was bloody good fun though, back on the V Twin. Told the missus today Daz that the holiday is cancelled as I need a VTR again!!

Can't understand why she is going out tonight with her mates and no me, women eh!!

Had an eventfull day up your way last year,,i lost Â£30 out my pocket,then later one of me mates had a head-on collision with another biker. The road came through the Sma' Glen. Think its up your neck o the wids

A written off bandit 12,and fazer thou' ,plenty bruises and couple of broken bones

Gave us all a big fright

Clucking Bells Blackadder!! Sma' Glen is one of my once-a-week routes. It's good fun but you have to know where you are going to travel fast over it!
