Replaced the cable ties on the shock remote with a s/s hose clamp, tidied up the wiring and lubed up the chain.

I need another helmet, but one you can where with glasses ( blind old duffer etc). Any one recommend one for about £180 ?

the best thing to do paul, is go down to a big store and try on lots of helmets, take your glasses of course, I just did the opposite, about 6mths ago I bought a new lid, down from £250 to £115, it's a HJC something or other, it has small channels for your glasses, well last week I finally had another eye test and I took the lid with me as I wanted a new pair of spec's.
it took a while, but I did find a pair that fit very well, just remember I did it butt about face, get down to a big store and try loads on, then go home and order the new lid online, it'll be loads cheaper....

Ta i did go to Infinity today as they had some bargains but bugger all fitted with my specs!!!, i will have a look tomorrow too.

I did try a scorpion and that had inflatable cheek pads but they didn't work with the glasses. I will keep looking but not been impressed so far. My nolan flip front is comfortable, but heavy and huge, its gets a right buffeting if its blowy. It also is as bland as poop.

Rode up to Snetterton last night with Magnum to get my Art Carbon cans sound tested...

I went first expecting to be quieter than Magnum's carbon cans. The limit for the track is 102db...

I got 105db with no baffles, then 102.9db with my home made baffles in... bugger :(

Magnum got......

99db! The git!!!

Gunna have to try a couple of things to get rid of that decibel.

I had the same problem. I wrapped my baffles with some fibre glass material I have and and then put them in. Took 5-10dB off. Could try that

when out for a ride this lunchtime, I went some where I've been meaning to go to since oct 2010, as some of you know, I had a very bad accident in oct 2010, I was air lifted to the royal London in a critical condition.... :(
well on that day I was heading to finchingfield, a beautiful little village in Essex, i'm sure many of you know it. as I said I never made it back in 2010, but today I rode past the crash site and finally got to finchy......
I even saw another firestorm coming out of finchingfield..... :biggrin
I had a lovely ride, a little bit of everything, the roads were quiet with hardly any wiggins wannabees.....
i even saw the local wildlife.....
