Today, I mostly rode home wearing my lubbly jubbly new X-lite lid.

Took the loom off the Wonky Donky...Jeeze that was fun.

I'll get back to you in a few days with the report on refitting the replacement one I got...

The craftsmanship on the welds and on the way the 4 parts connect to each other is outstanding.... I don't know whether to put them on the bike or keep them in the house as a work of art

Today I fitted some manual CCT's on a members' bike, and glass-fibered some glands onto the huge airbox. The seal the entry pipes for the fuel.

Only the Flo-Commander gland/port to fit and sealing round the choke cable somehow and it's ready to go on.
Got the bike booked on a dyno on Tuesday morning, to get a baseline run and some numbers, then maybe I'll try the big airbox in the afternoon and see how much it messes up the jetting!
I'll get that on the dyno another day, after I've played with jetting a bit.

Tony they are built to fit on std mounting points.

Don't know why I ever bothered with the pilot powers , yes they grip like sh1t but when the pilot road 2s are this good you don't need stickier rubber !
Right from my drive to to when I got back I ragged it and didn't get the rear to miss behave at all , it just gripped and within a mile I got both knees down :-)
