It's never happened to me before but it not impossible otherwise I would still have the bolt. It's my own fault as I remember not fully torquing the bolt, I used loads of threadlock but as I was tightening it down It did not feel right. You know that feeling that a bolt is going to snap or thread itself. There was a look of shock horror on my face when I found it missing.

It has made me think about some kind of safety mechanism on the bolt which surprisingly these don't have. Maybe a washer that slides over the spline before inserting the bolt with a tab that can be bent over onto one of the sides of the bolt head.

It will need a 2nd coat but that will have to wait till I get more paint & me wrist recovers...
Then It needs the sofits fitting...It's only taken me two years + to get round to doing this so don't expect an update ant time soon...

it actually looks like you have just moved the sheets and the rollers.

today I decided to try and put right the wonky carbon fibre seat cowl I bought from sebimoto.
i'll say this again, don't but from these guys, they are cheap for a reason. shockingly bad shape, even the 2 out of 3 mounting points were completely wonky, I say two out of three, because there wasn't a third mounting point....
I spent some time trimming the cowl, and drilling out the mounting points, I also had a spare rubber strip which helped tidy it up.
it's still needs some work on the o/s and i'd still like to glue on a third mounting point.
here's how it looked when I first got it....


and how it looks now, better but more work required.



finally probably the fastest colour combo known to man.....

How the hell will you keep the front wheel down with that super fast seat cowl on in the last pic

BTW its a normal size garage with an extension added about 2/3rds extra length...

I bought a pair of mori decals for the red bike, but that got moved on, so I thought i'd stick'em on the pineapple express, since this picture was taken, the bike now sports real c/f frame inserts.....

Marty don't forget that your key is still in the seat lock...

How many of us have done that. Spent ages searching for missing keys only to find them in the seat lock

Yep I did it and locked the garage up ,
Next morning (4am) got my leathers on and looked all over the house then remembered I'd left them in the seat lock :ball kick: so I had to break into the garage and it was to easy (sorted that now) found the keys and off I went

Thank Feck! thats not only me then!!!. I got the bike out, all the gear on, went for the key and nope! not there i was chuffin soaked in sweat by the time i had looked, pushed the bike back in, took my gear off then saw it poking out from behind the light.

We move soon ( garage at last) and iam planning some big mods for the bike and gear etc. Hyd ramp is first on the list.Then somewhere to store all my bike gear. Ski gear and the like etc. Also i will get the WR250 that I've been promised.

Oh and i did about another 130 miles, trying to get to grips with the RHS. Still about 6mm to go but i am improving.
