Got the front wheel back from Maidstone Motoliner, to job they have done. Swapped the front tyre back over and refitted to bike. I also slackened off the for clamps and gave it a good bounce to make sure it was all sitting straight after the pothole impact.

Started packing the camping gear and getting ready for Fridays run up to the homeland :D

Thankfully it's more a purple than blugh, sorry I mean blue, the yellow I can live with...just.

Got to find something to hide that gash ''dream machine racepaint'' decal, not so sure that would have been on the original race bike...

Watty wrote:Lovely Mac  , but...... What fast/slow colour category does this fall into  :D
It's fast enough for me thank you very much.

Whilst it looks blue in the pic's it's more of a purple in the flesh...(ffner ffner )

So it wont fall into the slow blue group that's for sure...

I'll start me own colour category...erm...Fast PWRSFTY...(fast purple with red stripe fading to yellow)

Im building a separate space at the back of it for stuff like that. Will shrink the cave a bit but I will still have a good 10ft to have as my own, not massive but enough for the bike, work bench with bench grinder, pillar drill and vice. Not sure when I will have it constructed, would like to have it by winter so I can strip the bike, fix the small oil weeps and get it clean and ready for next summer. But we shall wait and see.

If anyone knows/hears of any large sheds going cheap let me know. Even if I have to butcher it to fit I don't mind. If the panels come cheap its easy to sort :)

Sign yourself up on your local ''freecycle'' site, you can post wanted adds on there & people give you stuff for free !

If your willing to go & take it down & move it someone will have something they want rid of...worth a try for a couple of e-mails to & fro...

I got a pillar drill FOC a couple of years ago !

Parked it outside a Triumph dealer whilst taking these for a little spin:

Then rode around Wales for 6 hours to remind myself that the twin is where the useable fun is at
