Can I ask what gearing you are running and if non-stock did you take the odometer error into account?
Not trying to rain on your parade or anything but have seen many folks miss this
Man! I get 100miles a tank. Im not 100% percent because bike didnt die. Lol
How in the world was Bananama able to get double.. What you do? Ride it 30 miles an hour everywhere? Not pass 4k rpm?? Lol
I think 100 miles out of a tank is about 38?. I get just a little bit more than that and once worked out my car and bike both did about 42 to the gallon.

I think I get this consumption because I never (if possible) ride it through town. I,m not that quick but not that slow either.

on the topic of the thread I adjusted my chain today and buffed up the rear sprocket a bit then went for a quick spin out.
passed the mot last Wednesday
Its a 5.02 gallon tank.. So at 100 miles is more like 19 miles a gallon not 38..

As for the topic. I found out my battery is done... Ordered one yesterday!

 nah I've fitted a vfr800 tank that takes just over 22ltr, I'm running stock gearing and when the light comes on it takes exactly 16ltrs, over the last 4 fill ups the light has shown itself at 132, 137, 135 and last time with some mway running a surprise 141 miles!!! 8O so averaging that out for 16ltrs looks good!
And I tend not to ride too much like a granny
Nice... That is excellent!!! I wouldnt mind the extra miles.. Ill definitely look into it... Want to keep up with my 600cc buddies..

Yesterday I took Virt and his new special friend out for a ride, it was a rather slow one as Emma, Virt girlfriend, has never ridden. The wife, God that sounds weird, came on the back with me. Did about 60 miles so not a lot but enough to give Emma a taste and get the Mrs back on for the first time in ages.

Thankfully she was much better on the ride from yours than the ride to yours, there is something incredibly scary about her moving around while I'm on a roundabout!!

Was a nice route, thanks for taking me. Can imagine it being huge fun when I'm in complete control of the bike

Also more fun when you twist the throttle a bit more

Thought that route might be a good starting one for both of you :) glad you both enjoyed it

Was that your first time with a pillion onboard Virt. The first thing I say to any inexperienced pillion is that they need to stick as close to me as possible. Bunch up nice and tight and hold on, so we become one. When I lean, you lean with me. Oh and don't keep bashing your lid into the back of mine

What's fitted at the moment ?

What don't you like about them ?

What are you wanting/expect from the tyre ?

So when are you booked in at Lloydies to put all the goodies back on ...

PR1's. No feel, the edges are stone cold when the middle is on fire (despite being single compound..), every time i try to push i lose grip in a brown pants fashion..
Have no faith in them anymore
