It's when the back end slides without me asking or expecting it to that i don't like it, and it happens too often! Like i said, I'm hoping better tyres will stop that

As long as you have the shock on the softest setting and a spacer it will be good enough.
If you have the tyre stepping out then you really do need new tyres as you shouldn't get that on the road with our bikes with any half decent rubber

Its a 5.02 gallon tank.. So at 100 miles is more like 19 miles a gallon not 38..
fillups for me are after about 105/110 miles and I get about 12 litres in . 12 litres = 2.64 galls = 41.666 mpg I thank you..

I think there's a translation issue here between US gallons and imperial gallons..
Yep.. fancy a spare set of tyres Al?

Tbh I don't really care what mpg I'm getting, it's just fun fun fun

I get ~100 US miles (lol) and bike specs say it holds 5.02 US gallons.. So Im very puzzle when other people get almost x2 my miles per gallon..
But if you get more good for you.. lol

I swung by Virt's yesterday and picked up these beauties...
Cheers for the cuppa

hope you're not regretting selling them now you're keeping the bike

They sound better than those unbranded ones I have, there's more definition to the twin sound rather than just being loud and bassy, and I love the look of them

Yep US gallons are a different measurement scale from our IMP Gallons as YMV pointed out.

I am regretting it slightly, but I wouldn't be able to afford any tyres otherwise so i will survive. They look and sound gorgeous

going by ear they sound a bit quieter when held at 5.5k, so should be ok for track days too... will have to get them tested.
