Had a look at the fork stanchions the other day and realised they are bent......

Had decided to get them straightened but had a better look at them today and they are kinked so thats not an option and they're goin in the bin.

However on the plus side I took the forks apart and I'm pretty sure I've got uprated springs in there so it's not a total loss! Will put up some picks tomorrow.

I'm looking to buy a paor of Paulo & Franco stanchions from wemoto. Has anyone else tried this and if so what did you think?

Been able to get a bit of time recently on the bike so I've got the forks rebuilt. It's a Richard of a job bits that spin inside bits that spin inside bits that spin  anyway they're done with new stanchions, seals, bushes etc and today I rubbed em down and started spraying them. They're gonna be satin black for the most part with the textured pain in the bottom section.

Image

I also drilled off the lock cylinder and cut off all the ugly bits that hold it on will be spraying this up in the texture paint again. Will be mounting the key on the left below the tank.

Hello Chris, yeah I did, I reckon they'll be all good, the look and feel of them was pretty good. Ah man those forks were a pain!

I should be finishing off the forks tomorrow so I'll stick up some photos.

A pain if the bottom Allen bolt is not coming out easily :eek2 I loosened mine first with the spring still in place while on the bike.

Thanks for all the comments, it's getting there!

Demonic: no you can not! I'll be paying someone to do the next pair I do, they're a bitch!

I ordered some goodies last night, got a new oil cooler (black), a new headlight (black) and some bar end indicators (also black). Will stick up some photos when they get here.
