Simple 5 minute job that. Remove the springs and put them on after the magnets are in place. No walls included

as carl said the trick is to remove the 4 springs, then put everything together, and then refit the springs, the springs can be a little fiddly when your a sausage fingered oaf like myself, but if I can fit all 4 springs in a few minutes anyone can.
and duffy, I can't be arsed to paint it.....

I just had an hour in the garage and started to strip the bike down

Not bad for an hours work :-)

Carbs re-jetted and needles shimmed, all as per Hawk's guideline base setup. Also sprayed my crash protector mounts and shock linkage, next up are the rad fronts after I've rubbed them back, then can fit all that lot tomorrow. Possibly get the rear finished too with new cush rubbers, chain and sprockets. Waiting on forks to come back all Roger'd and ready then they'll be straight back in. It's getting dangerously close now



I'm looking forward to getting out on it again, it should feel quite different, I just might not be able to tell the difference each change has made, having done them all at once. Ah well

I'll put up a full list of what I've done when finished, still need to add up the costs...

Lloydie you are lapping me in rebuild terms, but hey I've spent a lot of time waiting for things to arrive, I've never done it before, and I tend to do a little bit at a time on an evening. Those are my excuses

lloydie, you need to blag a ride on a standard storm, and back to back ride it against your modified bike, it'll be the only real test, seat of the pants stuff.....
today I met the right honourable upstanding blue leader and his missus, we played a game swapsy swingarmery.....
whilst wait for said right honourable and upstanding blue leader I bumped into a fellow storm rider, he's only had the bike 3 months and he paid a whopping £700 for it....
the bikes not without it's minor faults, but it's still a bargain....

That does look very nice and I love the Black against the Orange bodywork.

What have I done to my bike today.....Insured it. £££££££££ such a waste of money paid to the mugging gits. An industry created to legally mug people.

Nearly there now new engine fitted .
2 more hours work and it'll be ready to fire up :-)

I do love the Orange and black together and I was going to do piggy like that .
