Ordered some Carbon case covers from eastern Europe (I think). At the moment I've not got any time to work on the bike so going to buy up some parts so I've got everything ready for when I get time to work on it. Stuff to order, powerbronze lowers and hugger, fender extender, levers, fork springs (poss Ohlins), I can get some of those parts trade so not as expensive as you'd think. The carbon covers I think can look a bit odd on their own especially on the clutch side but they should look good with gloss black lowers, as long as the genny cover side fits around the cover, looks like it might be tight.
Also got some number boards for the butt end, will have a go at fitting them at some point, though they don't look at straight forward fit.

well many thanks for saying that, but i need it a bit different. besides no bugger uses that bit. Jeff has bought my high levels so he will have a peachy looking bike after there fitted but i need to do my mod. I was hoping to get USD forks as they look great but after riding it with the "rodgered forks" i don't think USD,s would actually ride better. A SSSA was the only other poss mod. Just fir looks etc.

Some light trimming needed then, I thought it looked tight in pictures.

Brian
Well as there is always a counter post....lol

Yes some have issues with the Auto CCTs,then again some don't

Personally I will be able to post the 100K mile pic within the next month, all done with Auto CCTs.
So they can work or I'm just special........

So while there have been failures with the stock ccts, honestly I have seen just as many engines damaged by folks who read the threads, get scared and try to replace the units themselves.

But that is another topic and a whole can of worms also as I am in the camp of "Don't be lazy and take both valve coves off and do the job right " camp.

As you say you know the CCTS were recently replace, I wouldn't stress too much, though I might be the lone voice in the woods that thinks this.

The advice I always give when someone gets a new to them VTR is to change the CCTs if there is any question about there history.
Which type you choose, auto or manual, comes down to which option lets you sleep best at night

As soon as I got home from work I put fresh petrol in her, went for a half hour spin then washed and polished it.
Successfully de winterised
However my tyres are past it, had them on 4 years and they feel awful.
Michelin pr3s this time.
